Brunei has two mobile operators: DST and Progresif. For a standard itinerary — Bandar Seri Begawan, Seria, Kuala Belait and the Empire Hotel coast — both operators perform well with 4G/5G. Progresif launched commercial 5G in 2020; DST followed and both cover main urban corridors. DST has the wider footprint in rural areas and approaching Ulu Temburong National Park, where forest canopy reduces signal regardless of operator.
