In other words: more flexibility costs more money. Pick the narrowest pack that covers your actual trip — anything wider is overpaying for coverage you will not use.

Field tip — What unlimited plans actually mean

Most "unlimited" regional plans throttle to ~512 kbps after a daily fair use threshold (1.5 GB/day on aloSIM, 5 GB/day on Saily). None currently offers a monthly ceiling instead. Marketing rarely highlights this. Each regional page exposes the real limits in detail.

Each regional page includes 3-5 worked examples — actual itineraries with concrete prices comparing pack vs single-country options. Approximate prices but the relative ranking holds even when numbers shift.

Field tip — Country exclusions in regional packs

Regional packs marketed as "Asia" or "Europe" exclude specific countries that matter for travellers — Cambodia and Laos are not in most Asia packs, Russia and Belarus are excluded from Europe packs, the Caribbean is not in North America packs. Each page lists what is in and what is out.

Field tip — When a regional pack is not worth it

We tell you when a regional pack is the wrong choice. If you have an EU SIM in Europe, if your trip is single-country, if you have T-Mobile for North America — these scenarios get explicit "do not buy" recommendations. Honest editorial means saying when not to buy.
